Who We Are

Juliette Oyster Bar & Steakhouse is a modern wood-fired seafood and steakhouse located in Norman, Oklahoma. Founded by Chef Theron Jessop and his wife LeRhonda Jessop, Juliette was built on a shared vision — to create a place where fine dining feels personal and every guest feels genuinely cared for.

Inside Juliette, rich navy tones, brass lighting, and subtle Art Deco lines set the stage for a dining experience rooted in warmth and craftsmanship. Guests can expect the very best of USDA Prime beef, freshly shucked oysters, and seasonally inspired sides, all kissed by the heat of a post-oak fire.

Our Story

Chef Theron Jessop’s culinary journey began in Oklahoma and flourished internationally, with formal training in Motta di Livenza, Italy, and leadership roles at The Skirvin Hilton, The Summit Club in Tulsa, and as Executive Chef at The Artesian Hotel in Sulphur.

Alongside him, LeRhonda Jessop brings a lifelong dedication to caring for others through her career in nursing. Her heart for hospitality and intuitive sense of people help define Juliette’s culture — one centered on comfort, connection, and sincere service.

Together, the Jessops envisioned a restaurant that marries culinary excellence with genuine warmth — a space that feels refined yet approachable, where fire, smoke, and seafood share the spotlight.

Named for a symbol of timeless grace — and inspired by their daughter, Jules, whose spirit of curiosity and warmth embodies everything Juliette stands for — the restaurant represents a new era of Oklahoma dining: elegant, intentional, and unmistakably local.

We source premium seafood from the Gulf and Atlantic, pair it with Oklahoma’s best produce and meats, and let the wood-fire do the rest.
